CSA Course Descriptions
 

Level 1 Training
Pre-requisite:
No simulation experience needed; this class is basic and hands-on.
Learning objectives: Understand simulation as a teaching strategy, understand the basics of a high-fidelity simulator, describe how to write a basic simulation scenario, explain why debriefing is an important component of simulation, and articulate the value of the California Simulation Alliance.

Level 2 Training (Intermediate)
Pre-requisite:
Must have completed Level 1 Training or commensurate experience.

*Note: Level 3 consists of taking the Debriefing Workshop, Moulage and Standardized Patient courses. Participants must have taken Level 1 Training to participate in these Level 3 courses.
